The cybersecurity industry gathered in London on Wednesday evening to celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership at the SC Awards Europe 2026, hosted at the IET Savoy Place.
Bringing together security professionals, technology providers and industry leaders from across the region, the awards recognised the organisations, products and individuals helping to strengthen cyber resilience at a time when digital security has never been more critical.
The awards come against a backdrop of significant challenges for the industry. As organisations continue to expand their digital footprints and embrace increasingly interconnected technologies, the attack surface facing defenders continues to grow. At the same time, persistent skills shortages are placing additional pressure on security teams tasked with safeguarding critical systems, data and services.
Jon France, Chief Information Security Officer at ISC2 and Chair of the SC Awards Europe judging panel, said the awards highlight the innovation and leadership emerging across the cybersecurity sector at a time when organisations are working to secure increasingly complex digital environments amid ongoing skills shortages. He noted that recognising excellence across the industry not only celebrates achievement but also showcases the vital work being done to strengthen cyber resilience and protect society as a whole.
In that environment, the work celebrated through the SC Awards Europe takes on added significance. Recognition of innovative solutions, services and security leadership not only highlights technical achievement, but also demonstrates the industry's ongoing commitment to building a safer and more secure digital society. Cybersecurity remains a team effort, and acknowledging the organisations and professionals driving progress helps elevate standards across the wider profession.
The evening's ceremony was hosted by acclaimed UK comedian Emmanuel Sonubi, whose previous career as an IT and cybersecurity consultant has informed much of his stand-up material. Sonubi entertained guests with his unique perspective on the often-overlooked world of technology and digital security before presenting awards to this year's winners.
