Nominations for entry for the 2026 SC Awards Europe have been opened.

Nominations for entry for the 2026 SC Awards Europe have been opened.

In June 2025, 27 awards were dished out at the awards night in London. This is your chance to win one of these prestigious awards, the finalists of which will be announced at an event Wednesday, 3rd June 2026 at IET Savoy Place.

“I’m thrilled to announce the launch of this year's SC Awards Europe,” said Sharon Florentine, acting Editorial Director, SC Media UK. “After the success of the 2025 awards, where we saw huge numbers of entries, this year we're looking to provide opportunities for smaller businesses to shine, for the rising stars of our industry to be recognised, and for the wider industry to be considered for an award. We look forward to receiving your nominations!"

New venue, ceremony; category updates for 2026

In 2026, the event is moving to a new venue, and the format will include a drinks reception and a theatre-style awards ceremony.

Last year, we increased and revamped the categories, including splitting several to ensure that small business vendors were recognized. This year, we’re splitting the Best Security Company category by company size: Best Security Company Under 250 Employees and Best Security Company Over 250 Employees. Also, entry for our Rising Star award is now completely free of charge to encourage more businesses to enter their younger and aspiring employees.

"We've revamped the categories to make them more relevant to today's cybersecurity landscape and ensure that key suppliers in the market are well-represented, which really helps build credibility,” Florentine said. “I am so excited to be overseeing these awards for SC Media UK. It’s been a fantastic journey so far and I can’t wait to see how this year’s awards shake out!”

Among the 2025 winners, Crowdstrike scooped five awards for the second consecutive year, whilst Qualys were named as the Best Cloud Security Solution and Best Vulnerability Management Solution. SentinelOne was named the overall Best Security Company.

This year also saw a move to recognise newer companies entering the sector, with Goldilock named as Best Emerging Technology and Mindgard as Best New Company.

Among the professional awards, Natacha Bakir, malware analyst at Senthorus, was named as Woman of Influence; Peter Lane, consultancy director at Cyro Cyber as the Rising Star; and Tal Arad, CISO at Carlsberg Group as CISO of the year.
