Poor user practices and lack of end-user cybersecurity training the core sources for cybersecurity problems.
A lack of training or bad user behaviour has been named as the main cybersecurity problem facing IT professionals.
According to research from Kaseya, 89 percent of respondents cited a lack of training or bad user behaviour as their main cybersecurity problem, while user-related security issues cause the most distress for IT professionals with poor user practices (45 percent) and lack of end-user cybersecurity training (44 percent) cited as the core sources for cybersecurity problems.
When asked which cybersecurity issues have impacted their business, phishing ranked first at 58 percent, followed by computer viruses or malware at 44 percent, and business email compromise at 34 percent.
