Revealed: SC Awards Europe 2022 Shortlist

We're excited to announce our highly-anticipated shortlist ahead of the final unveiling ceremony in June

Our judges deliberated over hundreds of entries in what has been one of the most hotly contested awards submissions to date.

Assessed by a fresh and prestigious panel of 21 judges, this year’s SC Europe Awards shortlist recognises quality innovation and strong stewardship amid a time of pandemic transformation.

Our shortlist represents the cream of the crop among European cybersecurity firms. Ahead of the SC Awards Europe ceremony on Tuesday 21 June 2022, our judges will meet once more to select the best from each category and the final winners will be unveiled at a glittering awards night.

The line-up of 30 awards includes several new categories, including:

  • Women of Influence
  • Cyber Newcomer of The Year
  • Editor’s Choice

SC Awards chair of judges Richard Starnes, chief cybersecurity strategist for Capgemini, has over twenty years of experience implementing infosec programmes in the US and UK.

“I’m looking for qualities that I can't train into people. It’s impossible to teach desire and interest. I’m looking for hungry cyber innovators,” Starnes says.

“The SC Awards are critical for giving industry players a credible benchmark to strive for – and exceed.”

The head judge said he is keeping his eye out for innovative remote working solutions, as well as superior incident response, identity management, vulnerability management and IoT security technology.
