Findings come a month before DORA compliance deadline.
The majority of European companies experienced third-party breaches in the past year, a month ahead of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) compliance deadline
Research by SecurityScorecard found 98 percent of those analysed had experienced breaches, whilst 18 percent of companies reported direct breaches in the past year.
Ryan Sherstobitoff, SVP of threat research and intelligence at SecurityScorecard, said: "Supply chain vulnerabilities remain a critical threat, as adversaries exploit these weak links to infiltrate global networks.
“With regulations like DORA set to reshape cybersecurity standards, European companies must prioritise third-party risk management and leverage rating systems to safeguard their ecosystems."
