While three-quarters are confident in their ability to detect and respond in real time.

According to research by Viking Cloud, 49 percent of respondents in the UK - and 54 percent in Ireland - were concerned about job security, while 75 percent of UK respondents (and 51 percent in Ireland) indicated they were confident in their ability to detect and respond to cyber-attacks in real time.

Also, 63 percent of UK respondents say cybercriminals are more advanced than their internal teams, although only three percent of UK companies have increased cyber hiring over the last 12 months despite rising cyber risks.
