Enhanced Phishing, AI-Enabled Threats and Cloud Flaws Most Concerning for 2025

AI-enhanced phishing attacks is the top AI-powered threat for 2025.

Around a third of British IT professionals see cloud vulnerabilities and AI-enhanced attacks as the most significant data security threats for 2025.

According to research by GetApp, 36 percent and 35 percent, respectively, are concerned on cloud flaws and attacks enhanced by AI, while 65 percent of IT professionals highlighted AI-enhanced phishing attacks as the top AI-powered threat facing UK businesses in the upcoming year.

The risk of phishing persists, with 86 percent of participants reported receiving phishing emails at work, with 69 percent saying they - or others at their company - had clicked on malicious links.
