Around 15,000 girls have taken part in the latest NCSC’s CyberFirst Girls Competition.
With awards given for demonstrated cybersecurity skills at a ceremony on International Women’s Day at Jodrell Bank, the competition saw the girls compete in 12 regional finals, tackling a series of cybersecurity challenges, including decrypting messages, cracking code, and solving coding puzzles.
With a record 4,159 teams from more than 800 schools competing, the competition aims to encourage girls aged 12 and 13 to consider pursuing an interest in technology and a career in cyber, reported
