Tom Dolan VP, Global Financial Services ForeScout Technologies

With more than 10 years of industry experience supporting enterprise technology teams, Tom Dolan leads the ForeScout Technologies’ Global Sales organization specializing in Financial Services. Prior to joining ForeScout in 2014, Tom served as District Manager for RSA, and prior to that in sales roles with various other high tech resellers. Tom is a graduate of the University of Maryland and received his MBA from Rutgers University focusing on Finance and Supply Chain Logistics.

Phil Packman CISO, Commercial Contracts BT

Phil is the client facing CISO for BT and he and his team provide thought leadership, advice and guidance, as well as assistance with cyber strategy production; maturity assessment; compliance; policy and procedures; and security assurance.

Phil has both a Technical and a Leadership background supporting service delivery into BT’s major outsource contracts for over the 25 years and has worked in various industries including Oil and Gas, Commercial and Brands, Finance, Aerospace and Public Sector.

Phil Joined the current BT Security management team in 2009 and has previously been responsible for the formation of BTs Global Security Operations Centre strategy; the creation of BT’s Customer Security Engineering Capability; Advocacy and enablement; and for the development of the Contract Security Leadership function within BT.  

In addition to roles inside BT, Phil has undertaken several specialist secondments which include programme leadership of a large Cyber Analytics platform for an Australian client in Sydney; a year as the interim Chief Information Security Officer at a major global aerospace company; and he headed up Security Sales for BT in the Middle East for a year.  Phil is also proud to have led the flawless delivery of the Network Perimeter Security for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and this involved Phil holding a dual BT / LOCOG role working within the LOCOG Technical Operations Centre before and during the Games.

John Kindervag Chief Evangelist Illumio

John Kindervag has over 25 years of intellectual leadership experience in the cybersecurity space, recently joining Illumio as Chief Evangelist Officer from MSSP ON2IT, where he led cybersecurity strategy as a senior vice president.

Previously, he served as field CTO at Palo AltoNetworks. Before that, Kindervag spent over eight years as a Vice President and Principal Analyst on the security and risk team at Forrester Research.

It was there that he famously developed the concept of Zero Trust, an architectural approach founded on the principle of “never trust, always verify” that operates on the assumption that breaches are inevitable and that threats can originate from anywhere, even inside the network. Kindervag also serves as an advisor to several organizations, including the Cloud Security Alliance and Venture Capital firm NightDragon, and he was a contributor to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee Report to the President.
