Adobe urged the immediate application of Update 18 and Update 12 for the affected iterations.
Out-of-band patches have been issued by Adobe to fix a critical path traversal vulnerability in its ColdFusion app server.
Tracked as CVE-2024-53961, it has since gained a proof-of-concept exploit code which could be leveraged to facilitate arbitrary file system compromise in ColdFusion versions 2021 and 2023.
Adobe urged the immediate application of Update 18 and Update 12 for the affected iterations, with users also recommended to assess Adobe's updated serial filter documentation.
