NCSC CEO Felicity Oswald is stepping down in September after serving for two years and nine years with the agency.
According to The Record, she will leave to become CEO of Girlguiding. "I am passionate about amplifying girls' voices and ensuring the world sits up and listens," she said.
Her leadership at the NCSC included support for programs like CyberFirst Girls, aimed at increasing female representation in cybersecurity, which is a mission she plans to carry into her new role.
Her work briefing new ministers on national cyber threats contributed to shaping the UK's updated national security strategy and the forthcoming Cyber Security and Resilience Bill. Girlguiding, which serves over 300,000 members, praised her commitment to empowering young women, while Oswald expressed enthusiasm for continuing her advocacy for girls in STEM.
