The company's jobs board now says it has no open jobs.
Marks & Spencer has ceased further hiring as it battles the fallout from a cyber incident.
According to the Telegraph, the company has pulled all of its job adverts online and brought recruitment to a halt.
As of April 22nd, M&S’s website showed it was recruiting for 232 roles across its stores, warehouses and offices. Now, the company – which employs around 65,000 people – says it has no open jobs.
In a banner on its job website, M&S says: “Sorry, you can’t search for or apply for roles right now. We’re working hard to be back online as soon as possible.”
Around two weeks after the cyber incident apparently
began, it was
rumoured earlier that the incident was a ransomware attack.
