Company says operations remain unaffected.
Energy logistics company Tharisa has said it is currently managing a cybersecurity incident after detecting unauthorised activity on its network
According to a statement, the company said its operations remain unaffected, and are supported by established business continuity processes.
Citing its “built-in resilience”, it said it immediately took all affected systems offline to contain, assess and remediate and is in the process of informing the relevant authorities.
Tharisa is an integrated resource group critical to the energy transition and decarbonisation of economies, incorporating exploration, mining, processing and the beneficiation, marketing, sales, and logistics of PGMs and chrome concentrates.
