Concept of supporting companies on their journey of professionalisation and growth.
CREST has announced the launch of its Cyber Accelerated Maturity Programme (CREST CAMP) to boost cybersecurity maturity.
CREST said CAMP is about providing targeted mentoring, training, and guidance to companies in regions that have identified the need to improve the capability of their cybersecurity ecosystem.
CREST also said that via strategic partnerships, it is aiming to set new standards for growth and sustainability within the cybersecurity ecosystems of participating regions.
Support will come from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, who will provide mentoring to cyber service providers to develop their capabilities, experience and skills in line with CREST’s standards.
Nick Benson, CEO of CREST, said its work in global capacity building is essential for those companies that need more support and guidance.
”In today’s increasingly interconnected global market we must look beyond our own national borders to do the hard work that makes us all safer from cyber threats,” he said.
